Getting around

The Main Menu on the FrontPage is where you will find links to all of the pages on this wiki.  Simply click on the link and away you go. Click on the blue "Home" button at the top of the page to get to the wiki's FrontPage. To see what's been updated recently on the wiki, click on the "Recent Activity" tab on the right-hand side of the page.

Invite Key or Password

The address of this wiki is http://csclibrary.pbwiki.com/ and the password or invite key is: dewdrop. You can register and login as yourself so that we know who added what information to the wiki.

Logging in

You'll want to login first to make comments, edit or create a page. None of these features will be active until you login. Click on the "Log in" link at the top of the page. Enter the password, your name and email. Click the "Log in" button. The Security Alert window will appear.  Click the "Yes" button.

Adding comments

You will need to login to add comments. Click on the "Comments" button at the top of the page. If you haven't already logged in, the wiki will prompt you to enter the password. Type your comments in the blank box and then click the "add comment" button.

Editing a page

You will need to login to edit a page. Click on the blue "Edit page" button at the top of the page. The wiki will prompt you to enter the password, then click "Log in." The editing toolbar will appear and you can use it to format or make changes. Make text changes just like you would with a Word document.  Easy!

Creating (adding) a page

You will need to login to create a new page. Click on "New page" at the top of the page. The wiki will prompt you to enter the password, then click "Log in." Type the name of your page in the blank box. Keep the template button on "No template" and click the "Create new page" button. Then start adding your content. Don't forget to click the "Save" button when you're finished. Now that you have a page, you'll want to add a link to it so that others can find it (see below).

Linking a page

How will anyone see your great content if you don't link it to the wiki? To link your page, go to the FrontPage and click "Edit page."  Scroll down to the Main Menu and type the name of your page into the list of links. (Make sure you have added it in alphabetical order.) Highlight the name and click on the "Link" button in the toolbar at the top of the page. Use the drop-down box to select "WikiPage" from Link Type. Use the drop-down box to select the name of your new page from "Link to wiki page." Click the "Ok" button. Click the "Save" button, and then test to see if the link works. If it doesn't, please refrain from banging your head repeatedly on your desk.

You can also use the "Link" button to link to an internet site or an e-mail address. Just use the drop-down box to select URL or E-Mail.
